Security to files through authorisations and authentications
Opening and Saving files through globalOffice menus, is possible
only after the user is recognised as an authorised and authenticated
user. globalOffice does this automatically based on login data.
Storage in XML format
Files are saved in XML format in globalOffice making them available
across platforms through web. When a file is Opened from
globalOffice, file in repository is converted from XML to local
application format(word -.doc, writer -.sxw, excel-.xls).
When a file is saved, file is converted from local format to
XML format.
Render data in any required format
As data is stored in XML format, saving with globalOffice enables
conversion into any format (SVG, PDF, or proprietary).
globalOffice for StarOffice and OpenOffice is developed using Java
globalOffice plugin for StarOffice and OpenOffice is developed
completely using Java and hence globalOffice is architecture-neutral,
